On Tuesday, April 1, former Argenta-Oreana High School standout Cassi Newbanks’ current college team, the Indiana State Sycamores, won 8-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Butler Bulldogs.
The game took place at Butler Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.
The Sycamores’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 5 p.m. at Charlotte West Stadium against Southern Illinois Salukis.
