On Friday, March 14, former Argenta-Oreana High School standout Cassi Newbanks’ current college team, the Indiana State Sycamores, won 6-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Valparaiso Beacons.
The game took place at Price Field at The Eleanor Forsythe St. John Softball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Beacons this season.
The Sycamores’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 12 p.m. at Price Field at The Eleanor Forsythe St. John Softball Complex against Valparaiso Beacons.
