1. V 348-2025 Mark Tippet, owner and applicant is requesting a variance from §157.06 (A)- Ground Mount and Roof Mount-Height of the Dewit County Code. Said variance request is to increase the solar height limit at maximum tilt from 10’ to 12’ for maximum sun exposure. The named property is zoned RD-2 and is commonly known as 6229 Hallsville Rd., Clinton, Illinois in Barnett Township.
2. V349-2025 Mark Tippet, owner and applicant is requesting a variance from §155.065-District Lot Regulations of the Dewitt County Code. Said variance request is to decrease the south side setback from 15’ to 3’ and to reduce the setback on the west side (rear of property) from 35’ to 10’ in order to maximize sun exposure without moving existing trees. The named property is zoned RD-2 and is commonly know as 6229 Hallsville Rd., Clinton, Illinois in Barnett Township.
