Francis Folefac, the former Mt. Zion Junior and Senior High School basketball standout, took the court on Sunday, March 1, as the Siena Saints defeated the Rider Broncs 76-61.
The 6′7″ freshman forward turned in a performance with 23 points, 13 rebounds and four assists over 38 minutes of play.
This ex-Decatur Metro area high school standout will participate in competitions on Friday, April 10.
Millikin University’s softball team continued its winning streak with another doubleheader sweep over DePauw University on April 8. Strong offensive performances led to victories of 11-4 and 4-2 at home. The team prepares for their next conference matchup against Elmhurst.
Millikin secured an 11–7 win over Augustana after several lead changes throughout the baseball game. Freshman Mick Niebrugge stood out offensively while pitchers combined for key outs late in the contest.
