The event, presented in partnership with American Job Center and Illinois WorkNet, will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Midwest Athletic Center (former MacMurray College gymnasium) at 409 Hardin Ave. in Jacksonville.

Employers represented at the fair include hospitals, clinics, home health providers and extended care facilities. On-the-spot interviews are available for hundreds of part-time and full-time employment opportunities open to candidates with varying levels of education and experience. Colleges and trade schools will also be present with information on education and training.

“Health care jobs aren’t limited to patient care positions,” said Lori Hartz, director, Community Health, at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital. “Employers are seeking candidates for a wide range of roles, including receptionists, housekeeping, food service and more. We encourage anyone seeking a job in the Jacksonville area to come and learn what’s available.”

Health care employers who wish to host a booth at the event can register online at memorial.health/job-fair.

Admission and parking are free. For more information, visit memorial.health/job-fair.
