Illinois HB3101 passed the state House on April 3.

The bill, as it was introduced in the House by Rep. Terra Costa Howard (D-48) on Feb. 15, will create the Lodging Establishment Human Trafficking Recognition Training Act, according to the General Assembly website.

The measure now must be considered by the Senate.
