On Saturday, March 22, former Maroa Forsyth High School standout Jacob Blunck’s current college team, the Monmouth Fighting Scots, lost 10-1 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Illinois Blue Boys.
The game took place at Joe Brooks Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Blue Boys this season.
