On Wednesday, April 9, former Maroa Forsyth High School standout Jacob Blunck’s current college team, the Monmouth Fighting Scots, lost 13-3 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Illinois Wesleyan Titans.

The game took place at Horenberger Field. This was their first matchup against the Titans this season.

The Fighting Scots’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 12 p.m. at Glasgow Field against Knox Prairie Fire.
