The Millikin Big Blue men’s tennis team won a narrow 4-3 victory over Carroll University on April 11 during their trip to Wisconsin.
This win is significant as it brings Millikin’s record to an even 2-2 in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin play, with an overall season record of 13-5. The match was closely contested, especially in doubles play where Carroll took the doubles point despite a win from Gillian Nahum and Jorge Aura at No. 1 doubles with a score of 6-4. Matthew Kordesh and Harry Masterman lost their No. 2 doubles match in a tight contest, falling 5-7.
In singles competition, Millikin made a comeback. Nahum won his No. 1 singles match against Andrew LaBelle by scores of 6-2 and 6-3.
