Millikin University announced on March 27 that its women’s softball games scheduled for Saturday, March 28 will have a delayed start time because of weather conditions. The doubleheader, which was originally set to begin at 10:00 AM at the Workman Family Softball Field, is now scheduled to start at 12:00 PM.

The change affects the matchup between Millikin and Hope College, who are set to play two games on Saturday. The university also confirmed that another doubleheader is planned for Sunday, March 29 against Illinois College in Decatur, Illinois.

Adjustments like these are made to ensure player safety and maintain optimal playing conditions during unpredictable weather events. Such schedule changes are not uncommon during spring sports seasons when inclement weather can impact field availability and game logistics.

Fans planning to attend are encouraged to note the updated times and check for further updates in case of additional changes.
