Millikin University announced on Apr. 15 the award and letter winners for its wrestling program following the conclusion of the 2025-26 season.

The recognition comes after a successful year in which Millikin posted a dual meet record of 15-4 and secured second place at the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Championships. Six wrestlers earned All-Conference honors, including individual champions Leno Campbell, Joey Jens, and Mateo Casillas.

Among this year’s awards, Mateo Casillas was named Most Valuable Wrestler and shared Newcomer of the Year honors with Kody Marschner. The program also highlighted other team awards: Charlie Armstrong received Most Improved Award; Sabri Sino was recognized as Hardest Worker; Vincent Fiore and Luke Kawa were honored with the 11th Man Award, with Kawa also earning Up & Coming Award.

Varsity letters were awarded to several athletes across all class years. First-time recipients included seniors Qowiyu Amuda and Mason Franklin alongside multiple freshmen such as Christopher Arnold, Nathan Barbee, Ronan Byrne, Carter Hutchison, Logan Roberts, Kaden Tidwell, Brenden Turnbo, Nicholas Walker, Jayden Wiegand—and NCAA Qualifier Mateo Casillas. Returning letterwinners included sophomores Jaylen Covington and Bryan Lemus among others receiving their second letters; juniors like Charlie Armstrong (third letter), Christopher Guider (third), Michael Hutchison (third), Pierson Wilkerson (third); as well as seniors Johan Avila Rodriguez (fourth), Colin Claffey (fourth), David Navarra (fourth), Joey Jens (third), Chase Mirelez (third) and CCIW Champion Leno Campbell.
