Spending per pupil at Warrensburg-Latham Community Unit School District 11 was up 7.3 percent from five years ago, according to the Macon Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Macon County school district spent $8,716 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $9,352 in 2019-20.

The district’s enrollment rose from 953 to 956 students over the same period.

Warrensburg-Latham’s spending in 2019-20 was 35.5 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
