Mount Zion home prices rise in 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in 2019 in Mount Zion rose by $5,500 while total sales decreased by 9.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2019, there were 105 homes sold, with a median sale price of $137,000 - a 4.2% increase over the $131,500 median sale price for the previous year. There were 116 homes sold in Mount Zion in 2018.

The median sales tax in Mount Zion for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,068, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for 2019.
