Mount Zion home prices rise in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Mount Zion rose by $6,000 while total sales decreased by 16.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 57 homes sold, with a median sale price of $137,500 - a 4.6% increase over the $131,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 68 homes sold in Mount Zion in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Mount Zion for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,068, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2019.
