Mount Zion home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in Mount Zion rose by $18,250 while total sales increased by 3.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were 29 homes sold, with a median sale price of $161,700 - a 12.7% increase over the $143,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 28 homes sold in Mount Zion in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Mount Zion for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,068, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2019.
