On Sunday, April 6, former Sangamon Valley High School standout Jordan Closs’ current college team, the Illinois Blues, lost 3-2 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Ripon Red hawks.

The game took place at Kamp Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Red hawks this season.

The Blues’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 1 p.m. at Strong Complex Softball Field against Beloit Buccaneers.
