Village of Lovington Board of Trustees met Oct. 16.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

Call to order: President Dennis Garmon called the meeting to order at 6:05 p.m.

Pledge of Allegiance: Garmon led the pledge of Allegiance.

Roll Call found the following trustees to be present: April Daily, Keith Stanberry, Michael Young and Brittany Bates. Also present was President Dennis Garmon and Clerk Alma Fair. Absent Todd Hale, Michael Young. Young arrived at 6:17pm.

Old Business:

Review of New Ordinance Book

The meeting will be over at 8:00 PM per President Garmon

Clerk Fair continued to go over the new ordinance book that she has compared with the current ordinance book.

All was agreed upon unless noted and Clerk Fair will send that information to Frank H regarding the ordinance book.

Closed Session

For the purpose according to 5 ILCS 120/2 Sec.2 (c) (1) The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of Specific employees

It was determined that Closed Session was not needed after all.

Adjournment

A Motion was made by Young and Daily at 8:03 pm.
