There was a single gas station in cities across Macon County selling diesel at the lowest price of $3.37 per gallon in the week ending Nov. 2, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.
The average reported cost of diesel in cities within Macon County was $3.50 per gallon.
Of the 49 reported gas stations in cities within Macon County, 13 offer diesel.
The average reported price of diesel in Illinois was $3.63, compared to $3.69 the week before.
Gas prices in the U.S. have fluctuated greatly in recent times and many drivers are feeling the pain at the pump.
