Millikin University’s softball team continued its winning streak with another doubleheader sweep over DePauw University on April 8. Strong offensive performances led to victories of 11-4 and 4-2 at home. The team prepares for their next conference matchup against Elmhurst.
Millikin secured an 11–7 win over Augustana after several lead changes throughout the baseball game. Freshman Mick Niebrugge stood out offensively while pitchers combined for key outs late in the contest.
Millikin University has appointed Tom Noonan as its new head men’s basketball coach following experience both locally at St. Teresa High School—and previously on staff with Big Blue itself—returning him alongside his alumna wife Amy back home.
