Kenney Fire Protection District responded to 34 calls in 2016, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System obtained by the East Central Reporter.

The calls in Kenney included 32 fires - 24 structure fires, two vehicle fires and six other fires.

In all, the department saw $110,000 in fire loss - or about $3,438 per fire.

The department also received two false calls.
