Waynesville Fire Protection Department responded to nine calls in 2018 - same as the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Waynesville included seven fires - four structure fires and three other fires. The fire department also responded to one call for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

The department also received one false call, including one malicious call.

The Waynesville Fire Protection Department had an annual budget of $71,899 in 2018.
