Warrensburg-Latham Community Unit School District 11 Board met March 23.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

President, David Munson, called the regular meeting of the board of education to order at 6:00 p.m.

Members present by roll call vote were: Staci Bogue-Buchholz, Colleen Dickerson, David Munson, Clay Sellmeyer, Nathan Wentworth, Victoria Williams and David Zazke.

A motion was made by Mrs.Staci Bogue-Buchholz and seconded by Mr. Clay Sellmeyer to adjourn to closed meeting at 6:01 p.m.. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

President, David Munson, called the regular meeting to return to order at 7:30 p.m. The administration present consisted of Laura Wentworth, Bret Reedy and Paul Hoffman.

Others present consisted of Recording Secretary, Teresa Bailey and visitors: Allison Nolen, Adriane Moody, Kimberly Pyle and Chad Sloan.

President, David Munson, asked if there were any visitors that would like to address the board at which time there were none.

Mr. Paul Hoffman recognized the Warrensburg-Latham 7th Grade Volleyball Team: Drue Vallandingham, Karlise Ridley, Jessica Brown, Krissy Wilbur, Ella Meadows, Audrina Donaldson, Kelsey Oakley, Brettlyn Hickey, Allison Cushing, Eva Kelley, Destinee Allen, Elliana Park, Noel Jacobs, Mackenzie Stanley, Holly Jacobs, Head Coach Gillian Welker and Assistant Coach Jennifer Hickey for the following: Record: 19-5, 2nd Place Okaw Valley Conference Tournament, Regular Season Okaw Valley Conference Champions, Regional Champions, Sectional Champions and State Tournament Appearance-Elite Eight Finish. Mr. Paul Hoffman also recognized Brycen Stock for his 25-1 season record in wrestling, Regional Champion, Sectional Champion and State Champion at 215.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams and seconded by Mr. David Zazke to approve the consent agenda containing approval of monthly financial reports, minutes, approval of executive session meeting minutes and destruction of recordings as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. David Munson and seconded by Mr. Clay Sellmeyer to approve the bills for payment for March 2022. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

Mrs. Teresa Bailey presented information regarding Monthly Financial Updates.

A motion was made by Mrs. Staci Bogue-Buchholz and seconded by Mr. David Munson to approve the March 2022 personnel addendum as presented and pending satisfactory background checks. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. David Munson and seconded by Mr. Clay Sellmeyer to approve Allison Nolen as the High School Principal for the 2022-2023 school year. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams and seconded by Mrs. Colleen Dickerson to renew Bret Reedy as the High School Assistant Principal/Athletic Director for the 2022-2023 school year.

A motion was made by Mrs. Staci Bogue-Buchholz and seconded by Mr. David Munson to renew Paul Hoffman as the Middle School Principal for the 2022-2023 school year. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mrs. Colleen Dickerson and seconded by Mr. David Zazke to renew Laura Wentworth as the Elementary School Principal for the 2022-2023 school year. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. David Munson and seconded by Mrs. Staci Bogue-Buchholz to approve the Superintendent’s contract and compensation. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams and seconded by Mr. David Munson to approve the rehire of current certified staff for the 2022-2023 school year. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams and seconded by Mr. Nathan Wentworth to approve the

resolution titled, Resolution Reference the Honorable Dismissal of Certain Educational Support Personnel of Kim Pyle, Jessica Wentworth and Jane Koenig. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mrs. Staci Bogue-Buchholz and seconded by Mr. Clay Sellmeye to approve the renewal of insurance consulting agreement with Bushue HR as recommended. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. David Munson and seconded by Mrs. Victoria Williams to approve the WLHS’ membership with IHSA (no fee). All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

Various informational items were discussed.

A motion was made by Mr. Clay Sellmeyer and seconded by Mr. Nathan Wentworth to adjourn the March 23, 2022 meeting of the Warrensburg-Latham Board of Education at 10:43 p.m. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.
