MEMBERS PRESENT: Dan Matthews - Chair, Terry Ferguson, Joe Witte, and Brian Riddle. Also, present, Dee Dee Rentmeister, County Administrator, Joe and Marybeth Caldwell, Marina Operator.

MEMBERS ABSENT: Tom Farris

SUMMARY OF DISCUSSION:

Charles Suggs - CLSA Vice Commodore was present and thanked the committee for the gravel work done in their area. He indicated that the person who did the work told them that another 2 loads were needed along with some shaping work. Will meet with CLSA and make a plan for additional work needed.

A slip renter asked when the water would be back on so that they could use the restrooms. Matthews indicated that the entire facility does not have water and waiting for the plumber to come and fix the issue.

Motion by Ferguson, 2nd by Mathews to approve the November 2022 minutes. Voice vote, motioncarried.

Matthews stated that he would like to revise #15 of the Slip Renters Agreement by adding "weather permitting" to the first sentence - to read as follows: 15. Marina agrees to furnish potable water at one central location weather permitting for he benefits of its Licensees.... Motion by Matthews, 2nd by Witte to recommend change to #15 of the Slip Renters Agreement by inserting "weather permitting" in the first sentence. (Attached to minutes) Discussion with Witte asking about another sentence in #15 that appears to be missing some words. Will leave it alone for now. Voice vote, motion carried.

General discussion on the following:

o Electrical issues on dock 6 have been resolved. Two power meters were bad but are still under warranty. These will be replaced by company. Two other problems with the GFIS going bad. Will have some on hand and ask maintenance to assist in the future.

o Electronic payments can be made this year for the slip rent. The slip renter will have toprovide the slip agreement and insurance prior to being able to get the link to process an electronic credit/debit card payment. This notice will be included in the letter that goes out with the slip renewals.

o Joe indicated that the dumpster needs to be picked up with the old Styrofoam from dock 3.

o There was some ice build up on the gas dock and docks 1 & 2 but no major damage.

o Matthews indicated that the biggest project for this year will be putting together a new lease agreement for a manager. Discussed several options that the committee will be looking at along making the agreement with a longer term.

о Other projects will include possibly adding more breakwater sections, replacing the rip rap around the peninsula along the gas dock to dock 4 shoreline, dock 3 replacement, repairs to the restroom by the ramp.

o Joe was asked when he planned to put up a building on the gas dock as previously agreed upon. He indicated that he was planning on putting up a building in the Spring utilizing the revenue that he received from dock 7.

Mr. Suggs asked the committee about dredging the sailboat harbor. Will look at past minutes and see who paid for the dredging in the past.

Committee asked Joe to contact the septic contractor to come out and check the septic field/equipment to make sure that everything is operating correctly.

Committee asked Joe to get a couple of quotes for running power to dock 7 and bring to meeting next month.

Motion by Ferguson, 2nd by Witte to adjourn at 6:07 p.m. Voice vote, motion carried.
