According to the report, the district expelled or suspended 38 students during the year. That equates to 1.5 percent of the 2,478 students enrolled.
Of the 26 in-school suspensions, including 10 elementary or middle schoolers and 16 high schoolers.
The district reported that most in-school suspensions were given for tobacco. The category includes 11 incidents. There were seven incidents of violence without physical injury. For 11 incidents, students were suspended for a day or less.
The district reported that most out-of-school suspensions were given for alcohol. The category includes four incidents. There were three incidents of drugs. For seven incidents, students were suspended for 3-5 days.
