Marrowbone Public Library District Board met Oct. 22.
Here is the agenda provided by the board:
On October 22nd, President Tim Moon called the Regular Meeting of the Marrowbone Public Library Board of Trustees to order at 7:15 pm. with the following members present; Tim Moon, Richard Corwin, Jennifer Ashley, Jennifer Matheson, Carolyn Austin, Cheryl Cribbet and Kris Seitz. Librarians Lisa Spracklin (Co-Director) and Lesa Oathout were also present.
Minutes and Reports:
Minutes from the previous month's Board meeting were read and approved as amended per a motion by Richard.
The treasurer’s report, including last month's tabled items, was reviewed. Jennifer M. motioned to accept the report and payment of bills. The motion was unanimously approved by roll call vote.
Committee Reports:
There were no committee reports.
Unfinished Business:
Sally emailed a link to a video to be reviewed to satisfy part of the Per Capita Requirements. A few board members still need to review the video.
The 2018/2019 Levy (Ordinance 18-4) was reviewed and unanimously approved by roll call vote per a motion by Jennifer M.
New Business:
Staff salaries were reviewed and raised by approximately 5% per a motion by Cheryl. The raises were unanimously approved per a roll call vote.
The annual staff/board holiday party was set for December 1st at 4:00 pm.
Librarian's Report:
Circulation is again down slightly. Attendance at Story Hour is growing and Family Reading Night will be November 15th with the theme of "Hometown Heroes".
Carolyn motioned to adjourn the meeting at 8:14 pm.
