Mount Zion home prices rise in October 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2017 in Mount Zion rose by $42,000 while total sales decreased by 55.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2017, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $128,000 - a 48.8% increase over the $86,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Mount Zion in October 2016.

The median sales tax in Mount Zion for 2017 was $3,068. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,023. This marks an increase of 1.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.4%.
