Q1 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Moultrie County?

There were three offenders released on parole during the first quarter that live in Moultrie County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Macon Reporter.

The data shows that all of the released offenders in Moultrie County were men. The median age of the parolees was 28. The youngest parolee was a 24-year-old man sentenced for a crime against justice in 2017, and the oldest was a 35-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Michael Campbell. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2016 when he was 21 years old. He is now 24.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the first quarter in each Moultrie County municipality.
