Q2 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Macon County?

There were 72 offenders released on parole during the second quarter that live in Macon County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Macon Reporter.

The data shows that 67 men and five women were released in Macon County. The median age of the parolees was 36. The youngest parolee was a 21-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving one or more weapons in 2017, and the oldest was a 68-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2016.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Cedric H. Davis. He was convicted of a crime involving one or more weapons in 2011 when he was 32 years old. He is now 40.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the second quarter in each Macon County municipality.
