Farmer City United Methodist Church issued the following announcement on Aug. 3.
The Neighbors to Neighbors Program was our way of giving to those with a need. Volunteers met on three Saturdays in the month of July and built a handicap ramp, created an extra bedroom, and reinforced a deck.
We wish to thank Joe Brown Construction and Mike Brandt Construction, as well as, Cliff & Twila Holstein, Jerry McKinley, Steve & Jill Anderson, and Diana Homann for their physical help. A SUPER HUGE thank you goes to our church family/members that helped with financial donations and/or food/drink donations.
