Argenta home prices rise in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Argenta rose by $2,750 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $77,750 - a 3.7% increase over the $75,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 20 homes sold in Argenta in 2016.

The median sales tax in Argenta for 2017 was $2,184. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,188. This marks an decrease of 0.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.8%.
