Forsyth home prices fall in the third quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2019 in Forsyth fell by $32,000 while total sales increased by 26.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2019, there were 43 homes sold, with a median sale price of $218,000 - a 12.8% decrease over the $250,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 34 homes sold in Forsyth in the third quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Forsyth for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $4,781, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2019.
