Dewitt County Property Committee met April 8.
Here is the minutes provided by the committee:
MEMBERS PRESENT: Christy Pruser, and Dan Matthews. Also, present Kevin Kemp, Maintenance Supervisor and Dee Rentmeister, County Administrator. Scott Nimmo – Chair and Nate Ennis present via teleconference call.
MEMBERS ABSENT: Lance Reece
SUMMARY OF DISCSSION:
Motion by Pruser, 2nd by Matthews to approve February minutes. Voice vote, motion carried.
Motion by Pruser, 2nd by Matthews to approve the claims. Voice vote, motion carried.
Project updates:
o Met with Keith from Chastain to begin preparing bid documents for the roof replacement at the county building. Will have Chastain include an option for solar panels on the roof.
o Working on minor repairs and the animal shelter.
o Will start removing concrete sections on the gas dock at the marina.
o Holding off on doing work that requires outside contractors due to the pandemic. to replacement.
Motion by Pruser, 2nd by Matthews to adjourn at 7:08 a.m. Voice vote, motion carried.
