Analysis: Sullivan pays $2.91 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Sullivan FPD Firefighters Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 74.5 percent of the $224,315 the Sullivan FPD Firefighters Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $2.91 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Macon Reporter analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Sullivan contributed $167,058 to the fund, which saw a $14,400 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $57,257, or 25.5 percent, in 2018.
