Dewitt County Land Use Committee met June 8.

MEMBERS PRESENT: Terry Ferguson – Chair, Jay Wickenhauser and Camille Redman. Cole Ritter and Melonie Tilley attended virtually. Also, Dee Rentmeister, County Administrator.
MEMBERS ABSENT: None
SUMMARY OF DISCUSSION:
Motion by Wickenhauser, 2nd by Ritter to approve the claim. Voice vote, motion carried.
Motion by Redman, 2nd by Tilley to approve April minutes. Voice vote, motion carried.
Ferguson indicated that interviews took place for the vacant zoning administrator’s position. Mr. Aaron Paque has a broad base of experience with GIS and working for the City of Bloomington. Motion by Redman, 2nd by Wickenhauser to recommend to the full board to appoint Aaron Paque as the zoning administrator working 35 hours a week at $20.00 an hour. Voice vote with all members voting aye. Motion carried. Mr. Paque attended the meeting virtually and thanked the committee. Discussed with Mr. Paque a starting date. He will start July 6, 2020.
Review of the monthly zoning report.
Motion by Tilley, 2nd by Wickenhauser to adjourn at 5:39 p.m. Voice vote, motion carried.
