Q1 2020 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Moultrie County?

There were three offenders released on parole during the first quarter of 2020 that live in Moultrie County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Macon Reporter.

The data shows that two men and one woman were released in Moultrie County. The median age of the parolees was 42. The youngest parolee was a 36-year-old woman sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2019, and the oldest was a 46-year-old man sentenced for a financial crime or fraud in 2019.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Aaron C. Settle Sr. He was convicted of a financial crime or fraud in 2019 when he was 45 years old. He is now 46.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the first quarter of 2020 in each Moultrie County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
