Meeting was called to order at 6:00pm by Chairman Newberg.

Roll was answered by Ennis, Ferguson, Houser, Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser, Redman, Reece, Ritter Tilley. Absent Wickenhauser

You are hereby directed to call a meeting of the DeWitt County Board. The purpose of said meeting is to conduct the business of the County.

Motion by Ferguson second by Nimmo to approve June 2020 County Board Minutes. Aye: Ennis, Ferguson, Houser, Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser, Redman, Reece, Ritter, Tilley. Motion Carried.

Jeff Bowling spoke to the board on the wind farm vote. Bowling was disappointed in the attendance of the board member at the RPC and ZBA meetings.

Kim Spencer read a statement from the director of the vault. Time for healing all should work together.

Becky Fatheree read a statement from Dean and Becky Adams thanking the board tor the yes vote to the wind farm.

Logan Redman thanked the board for the work done by all on the wind farm vote. Barbara McMath would like for the board to work together.

Motion by Newberg second by Pruser to approve resolution tx 03-20-001. AYE: Ennis, Ferguson, Houser, Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser, Redman, Reece, Ritter, Tilley. Motion Carried.

Motion by Newberg second by Ritter to appoint Curt Utterback to fill the unexpired term of Rex Swoverland who has resigned his position as trustee of the Weldon Fire Dist. With term set to expire June 2024. AYE: Ennis, Ferguson, Houser, Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser, Redman, Reece, Ritter, Tilley. Motion Carried.

Motion by Reece second by Houser to enter into an intergovernmental agreement with Farmer City Fire Protection Dist. To ambulance service. AYE: Ennis, Ferguson, Houser, Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser, Redman, Reece, Ritter, Tilley. Motion Carried.

Motion by Reece second by Ferguson to approve the addendum to the current (2019) agreement with PSI to include service to the Farmer City Fire Dist. AYE: Ennis, Ferguson, Houser, Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser, Redman, Reece, Ritter, Tilley. Motion Carried.

Motion by Reece second by Redman to rescind the Motion concerning putting a referendum question on the ballot concerning ambulance service of the Farmer City Fire Protection Dist. AYE: Ennis, Ferguson, Houser, Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser, Redman, Reece, Ritter, Tilley. Motion Carried.

Motion by Redman second by Tilley to pay all bills. AYE: Ennis, Ferguson, Houser, Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser, Redman, Reece, Ritter, Tilley. Motion Carried.

Motion by Redman second by Ferguson to approve and Certify salary increase for full time Public Defender position at 90% of the States Attorney’s Salary pursuant to 25ILCS 120/6.6 and 55ILCS 5/3- 4007 retroactive to July 1, 2020. AYE: Ennis, Ferguson, Houser, Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser, Redman, Reece, Ritter, Tilley. Motion Carried.

Motion by Redman second by Tilley to approve salary and expenses for Dewitt County Engineer, Section 20-00000-00-CS & 20-CS039-00-AC. AYE: Ennis, Houser, Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser, Redman, Reece, Ritter, Tilley. Abstain: Ferguson Motion Carried.

Motion to amend the 2020Hokiday calendar to include November 3, 2020 Election Day. AYE: Ferguson, Houser, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser, Redman, Reece, Ritter, Tilley. NAY: Ennis, Matthews. Motion Carried.

Motion by Tilley second by Ferguson to adjourn at 6:55pm. With all in favor.
