Macon home prices rise in September 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2020 in Macon rose by $27,000 while total sales remained unchanged with two homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2020, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $74,500 - a 56.8% increase over the $47,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Macon in September 2019, as well.

The median sales tax in Macon for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,771, approximately 2.4% of the median home sale price for September 2020.
