Village of Mt. Zion Board of Trustees met Nov. 2.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

Mayor Williams called the Meeting of the Mt. Zion Village Board of Trustees to order at 5:15 p.m. in the Village Hall Board Room. The following Board Members were present for roll call: Mike Mose, Ellen Ritchie, Donna Scales, Wendy Kernan and Kevin Fritzsche. Also present were Village Administrator, Julie Miller, Director of Public Works, Chad Reynolds, and Village Clerk, Dawn Reynolds. Trustee Chris Siudyla, Village Treasurer, Corey McKenzie, and Chief of Police, Adam Skundberg joined the meeting through Zoom.

Public Forum: No one was present.

Presentation of the Proposed FY 2021 Budget - Discussion Only: Administrator Miller presented a power point of the proposed budget for fiscal year 2021. The public notice will be published in the Mt. Zion Region News and posted on the Village website along with a copy of the budget.

Discussion was held regarding the Harry Land sidewalk extension, the ITEP grant, a possible new PUD Residential development, and the new TIF agreements.

Adjournment: A motion was made by Trustee Ritchie to adjourn the November 2, 2020 Village Board meeting, seconded by Trustee Kernan. A voice vote was unanimous; motion carried. The meeting was adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
