Forsyth home prices fell in the third quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Forsyth fell by $17,800 while total sales decreased by 44.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were 16 homes sold, with a median sale price of $176,200 - a 9.2% decrease over the $194,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 29 homes sold in Forsyth in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Forsyth for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $4,781, approximately 2.7% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
