April: Home prices in Forsyth fell

The median sale price of a home sold in April in Forsyth fell by $49,950 while total sales decreased by 37.5 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $190,000 - a 20.8 percent decrease from the $239,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Forsyth in April 2021.

The median sales tax in Forsyth for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $4,781, approximately 2.5 percent of the median home sale price for April.
