Cathy Dougherty, a clinical dietetics tech, is the Springfield Memorial Hospital Colleague of the Month for May.

Dougherty’s dedication to doing her job well each day “is obvious to anyone who works with her,” said Jacqueline Gregoire, Dougherty’s co-worker in food and nutrition services, who nominated Dougherty for recognition.

Dougherty, of Springfield, has worked at Springfield Memorial Hospital since 2004.

Outside of work, she enjoys drawing, gardening and spending time with her family, which includes her husband and their two grandsons.
