Census Bureau: 81.7 percent of people in Wapella were old enough to vote in 2020

Of the 474 citizens living in Wapella in 2020, 387 were old enough to vote as of March 24, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 206 of those people were female and 181 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
