Chicago and Illinois among highest unemployment rates in the United States

The new Bureau of Labor Statistics report indicates that the Chicago Metropolitan Area has the highest unemployment rate in the country at 6.2%.

"It's time for a serious change in approach to bring real economic recovery and job growth to our communities," stated an official.
