MINUTES FOR OAKLEY TOWNSHIP MEETING- December 19, 2016

Jay Lawler, Supervisor Kelly Bolt, Clerk Robert Weaver, Road Commissioner Trustees: Robert Barnes Visitors Signed In Geri VanWinkle Don Floyd James VanMatre Lester Cook Greg Morganthaler Steve & Becky Whitfill Les Taylor Lynn Hiser

CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Lawler at 6:00 pm followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

ROLL CALL Present: Supervisor Lawler, Trustee Morganthaler, Trustee Barnes and Trustee VanMatre: Trustee VanWinkle was not present a quorum was called by the Supervisor.

MEETING MINUTES Supervisor presented minutes from the November regular meeting. Trustee Morganthaler made a motion to approve minutes, seconded by Trustee VanMatre, and motion carried.

REPORTS Road Commissioner Weaver was present and reported that the cinder trucks were running and that they were going to be getting more cinders tomorrow. No further news to report.

Cemetery Report – Trustee Fulk was present. Trustee Fulk stated that there was one burial this month. There was no further news to report.

Planning Commission – No one was present. No further news to report.

OLD BUSINESS

Supervisor Lawler asked if anyone had any old business. No further old business to report.

NEW BUSINESS

Supervisor Lawler presented the 2017-2018 Meeting dates and Holidays. Trustee VanMatre made a motion to accept the presented 2017-2018 Meeting dates, seconded by Trustee Barnes. Trustee Barnes made a motion to accept the 2017-2018 Holidays, seconded by Trustee Morganthaler. The lists were then signed and presented to the Clerk for posting. With no further business the meeting continued.

VISITOR COMMENT Supervisor Lawler asked if any visitors had any comments or questions. With no further comments, the meeting continued.

VOUCHERS

Financial spreadsheets were provided by the Supervisor and vouchers were submitted to board members for approval. Supervisor Lawler asked for a roll call vote to approve General Township vouchers in the amount of $5,479.50 and Road District vouchers in the amount of $7,977.50; Trustee Morganthaler – yea: Trustee Barnes –yea: Trustee VanMatre: Supervisor Lawler- yea: Vouchers were approved and given to Supervisor for payment.

With no further business, Trustee Barnes made a motion to adjourn meeting, seconded by Trustee VanMatre: meeting adjourned at 6:10 pm.
