Maroa ranked 625th in state in lottery ticket sales for January 2016

The City of Maroa had the 625th highest lottery ticket net sales statewide per capita for the month of January 2016 -- down 518 spots from its December ranking.

Based on monthly sales records obtained by the Macon Reporter, Maroa generated $34,201.50 in net sales from its two lottery retailers in January 2016, compared to $29,081.50 in January 2015.
