Dewitt County Marina Committee met July 10.

Here is the agenda provided by the Committee:

1. Call Meeting to Order

2. Persons Wishing to Address the Committee, (If requesting action, also list below in section three).

3. Items for Discussion and Possible Action

a. Approve last month’s minutes.

b. Approve bills.

c. No Swimming in the Marina signs posted on each of the docks.

d. CLSA request for white rock from the concrete spoils.

e. 4 night lights need to be replaced in the large parking lots with LED’s.

f. Well repairs to eliminate coliform bacteria. Marina is on a boil order due to sample results indicating the presence coliform bacteria.

g. Manifold system for smaller dock

a. Repair update:

Clinton Lake Marina sign on DeWitt Road

Dry land drainage problem – County Highway Department has been completed waiting on sufficient rainfall to determine if it is adequate. Might still need to be seeded.

Dock 4 warranty repairs by G&H

Concrete repairs at the boat launch

Re-floating of gas dock and service dock – 1st phase complete except for boxing in the valves – no returncall to the Marina from Nick Johnson with Alpha Divers

Building repairs – emergency lights and ceiling – completed by Sessions Electric

Parking lot and driveway repairs

Painting of floors in the main building

Sewage treatment plant replacement – soil samples have been taken

Removal of dead tree on west side of the main building

Painting the walls in the main building

Striping the parking lots - ramp striping complete

Dock repairs and sealing of the docks

Raccoon trapping update

Concrete barriers at the well head in place

b. Slip Rental/Waiting List Update.
