Analysis: Clinton pays $2.37 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Clinton Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 70.3 percent of the $234,918 the Clinton Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $2.37 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Macon Reporter analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Clinton contributed $165,233 to the fund, which saw a $4,384 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $69,685, or 29.7 percent, in 2016.
