Analysis: Sullivan pays $2.47 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Sullivan Fpd Firefighters Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 68.7 percent of the $208,703 the Sullivan Fpd Firefighters Pension Fund brought in last year, or $2.47 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Macon Reporter analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Sullivan contributed $143,375 to the fund, which saw a $6,117 decrease in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $57,878, or 27.7 percent, in 2016. Another $7,450 came from other unspecified sources.
