State Representative Regan Deering (R-Decatur) has announced her upcoming business tour, "The Regan Route," in the 88th District. The initiative aims to explore various industries, address workforce issues, and promote development in Illinois, particularly in the central region.

"I am launching this tour so I can highlight business owners and workers across the district to share the issues that are important to them," said Rep. Deering. She emphasized the potential of Illinois but pointed out that current policies from Springfield pose challenges for businesses and families.

Rep. Deering has experience as a former business owner herself, having operated a tutoring and test prep center in Decatur. "As a former business owner, I know how challenging it is to own a business," she stated. Her goal is to focus on legislation that benefits constituents and improves the business environment in Illinois.
