CITY OF DECATUR: Location Change – City of Decatur’s Last “Citywide CLEANUP” will be held at the Decatur Public Library Parking Lot, October 11

Clean up

City of Decatur issued the following announcement on Oct. 4.

The City of Decatur in partnership with Advanced Disposal is sponsoring its last Citywide CLEANUP for 2018 on October 11th from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m at the Decatur Public Library Parking Lot.

City of Decatur residents will be allowed to dispose of large items for no charge. Acceptable items include: furniture, mattresses, and household items. Limited amounts of tires (10) will also be accepted. NO ELECTRONICS, appliances, paint or yard waste. Items must be placed in roll off bins located within the parking lot.

The “Citywide CLEANUP” is part of the City’s initiative designed to reinvigorate and improve neighborhoods. This is the fourth organized cleanup of the year.
